Bifurcated Fan
Design
- Long cased axial fan with motor outside the air stream. Bifurcated axial fan are designed to move large volume of hot or corrosive air at low pressure. The bifurcated or ‘split’ casing diverts the air flow on either side of the motor compartment and rejoins again downstream, leaving the motor open to clean ,ambient air outside the casing
Application
- Bifurcated fans can be used for extracting large volumes of warm ,dusty , corrosive at relatively low pressures
